The interior design team focused on creating a space that was elegant yet comfortable. Maple vinyl flooring, chandeliers and dramatic lighting create an environment that is rich and stimulating, while features such as a carpeted walking area pamper guests and ensure a leisurely shopping experience.

To achieve store owner Tim Devanney's vision of an experiential shopping environment the store planning team created a layout featuring theatrical vignettes located throughout the store. With a floor plan designed to drive traffic to these high revenue areas, the vignettes include a deli with theater-style lighting and a produce department featuring animatronic wildlife - a favorite among store patrons young and old alike.

Store Design Services A&E team incorporated an arched copper vaulted foyer to serve as an elegant introduction to the New England market. Inside, gabled skylights accent the store's interior, adding richness and reducing energy consumption in the process. A manufactured stone and stucco facade graces the exterior, employed to take advantage of its rich appearance and cost-saving price point.

Custom-built merchandisers were procured to augment Highland Park's upscale interior, as well as other high-end equipment necessary for the classical New England design. Through an equipment package that focused on design and efficiency, Store Design Services helped Highland Park cost effectively bring merchandise to the forefront of the shopping experience.
