Hyde Park, an upscale Cincinnati suburb, was the perfect location for bigg's to launch a new merchandising initiative aimed at gaining ground in the high-end grocery market. With an emphasis on perishables and a design package created to reflect the store's new direction, Store Design Services helped bigg's develop a presence in the community and exceed sales goals in the process.

Store Design Services store planners worked with the bigg's development team to create a store plan that would make sense in the upscale format. Specific attention was paid to directing shopper flow through the perishables department, the staple of the Hyde Park store and a primary driver of revenue in high-end grocery retailing.
